They’ll Mc-fly off the shelves!
Nike has turned back the hands of time, creating a limited number of Nike Mag shoes made famous by the film “Back to the Future Part 2, ” released in 1989.
Nike and The Michael J. Fox Foundation proudly announced the release of the 2016 Nike Mag — a limited-edition release of only 89 pairs available globally through an online draw — to channel the excitement of the Mag to raise awareness in the fight against Parkinson’s disease.(Nike)
The gray, white and cyan blue colored high tops will be available in the U.S. and Canada via a lottery running from October 4 through October 11, according to Fox 11.
Eighty-nine pairs of the shoes, featuring angled tops pushing up toward the shin along with white “Nike” straps similar to the ones Marty McFly wore in the second installment of Robert Zemeckis’ popular film franchise, will be made available.
After visiting 2015, Marty McFly must repeat his visit to 1955 to prevent disastrous changes to 1985... without interfering with his first trip. The movie is: "Back to the Future Part 2."(universal)
The Nike Mags automatically tighten and loosen depending on the size of the foot wearing it.
In order to get your hands on a pair, you must enter a lottery by donating $10 to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or the Nike+ App. The proceeds will go to Michael J. Fox's (Marty McFly himself) foundation - the beloved actor has been battling Parkinson's disease since 1991.
