kyle larsonThe Fleet Feet – Nike Racing Team had a successful performance at the 2016 Boston Marathon. The squad was lead by Kyle Larson, who finished 59th overall, 52nd in the men's division, and 30th American male with a personal best of 2:34:15 while Pamela Staton took 32nd overall in the women's race and was the 11th American woman with a 2:52:59. Both Larson and Staton were the first finishers from Illinois. Kristin Johnson was the 31st American woman and 3rd woman from Illinois with a time of 2:57:01.

In the Team Competition, the Fleet Feet - Nike Racing Team's Women's Open Team placed 2nd overall with a cumulative time (top three times) of 8:57:40 (Staton 2:52:09, Johnson 2:57:01, Rachel Stack 3:07:40). The Fleet Feet - Nike Racing Team's Men's Open Team placed 9th overall with a cumulative time of 8:03:39 (Larson 2:34:15, Javier Mere 2:42:17, Eiichiro Kamikawa 2:47:07). Both Open teams were the top teams from Illinois.

In the Master's Team competition the Fleet Feet - Nike Racing Team's Men's Masters Team finished with a cumulative time of 9:23:14 (Matt Curley 2:53:56, Kennard Wilson 3:14:16, Charles Crotteau 3:15:02) and placed 29th overall and was 2nd team from Illinois. The Fleet Feet - Nike Racing Women's Masters Team finished with a cumulative time of 11:37:10 (Maria Dominguez 3:47:29, Oceanna Clifford 3:53:47, Lizbeth Nieves 3:55:54) and placed 44th overall and was 2nd team from Illinois.
